Melissa Dabbara
The President is responsible for supervision over the affairs and operations of the Newcomers. The President runs the monthly board meetings, serves as an advisory member of the Nominating COmmittee, and plans/executes the President's Party in late Spring. The President or Vice President must approve all expense form. The year following the term as President, shall serve as Past President and advisor to the Executive Committee.
President
Jenny Coates
Duties include assisting the President in all things, and to perform the duties of the President in the President’s absence. Responsible for chairing the Events Committee, onboarding new board members, maintaining the monthly calendar of events, and the Google Workspace. The VP plans the Board Member Cocktail Party and the Ladies Spring Dinner. The VP, along with the President, is authorized to sign expense disbursement forms, and will assume the position of President the following year.
Vice President
Ashley Latham
Serves in an advisory role to the President and the entire Newcomers Board. Attends all turnover meetings to ensure smooth transition of roles and responsibilities, and helps oversee the organization's operations.
